Kick-starting 2023: Insights from our visit to SLS and Kompressor Teknik

2023 has just begun and at EKA Group, we had a great way to start the year - by inviting our colleagues from EKA Baltic and EKA Finland to visit us.

In the morning, we visited one of our project partners, SLS Kyla Värme Energi AB in Norrköping, where we had the opportunity to see the portable unit under construction for the Giant Magellan Telescope (GMTO). This is a very exciting project that we are proud to be a part of. We got an inside look at the manufacturing process and the different units that were on their way to be sent to customers. This was a fantastic opportunity to see the hands-on aspect and exchange ideas and experiences regarding the project.

We also had the chance to visit SLS' neighbors in this industrial area, Kompressorteknik, who opened their doors for us and gave us a technical tour. Their concept of a circular economy is impressive.

Overall, this was a very informative and memorable day. We got to see the technology behind the project and how it will be used in the future, while also getting to exchange ideas and experiences with our colleagues from other countries and strengthen our professional relationships. We look forward to continuing to work together on this and other exciting projects in 2023 and beyond.
